Eric A Chase Architecture
Eric Chase founded his architectural practice in 1980 in Branford, Connecticut. In 1997 he moved from Branford to Brooksville, Maine and established his current office, Eric A. Chase Architecture.
Brooksville is a small waterfront community on the Blue Hill Peninsula on the east side of Penobscot Bay. Camden is across the bay to the west, and Bar Harbor is to the east. The area is known for its spectacular islands and coastline, world class sailing and abundant seafood. In addition to boat builders and fishermen, the area draws artists, musicians, summer residents and retirees.
Most of our work has been residential design; summer homes, year-round houses, large and small-scale renovations and additions. We have also continued to offer commercial design which includes new construction, additions and renovations for libraries, city halls, senior centers, nursing and retirement homes, and other commercial projects, including the renovations and additions to the Stonington Opera House.
Rather than adhering to a particular style, we strive to work closely with our clients to develop their vision and produce a design that fits their needs and lifestyle, their budget, their site and its setting.
