Cape Rosier House
The owners wanted a new year-round retirement home maintaining the former cabin’s waterside deck’s magnificent view of Penobscot Bay while settling into the steep grade of the surrounding landscape. One room deep, the new house has windows on at least two sides in every living space. The guest bedroom wing is set back twelve feet, creating an open light filled dining area. The two guest bedrooms are raised to avoid the ledge and to make this wing more private.
